Diversity at Work

Does your organisation value diversity? Is equal opportunity taken seriously or is there prejudice and discrimination? Use this dynamic board game to demonstrate the importance of respecting the individual and respecting ALL contributions.

How it works

Teams work their way across a board using playing pieces and a dice. Team members have to deal with three types of card. True or False cards test levels of racial prejudice or mistaken ideas. Real Case cards offer delegates the chance to comment on real cases from the courts or Employment Tribunals. Group Task cards encourage lively debate on some of the very latest employee issues around diversity and equal opportunities.

What it does

Diversity at Work! is a non-threatening board game designed to encourage lively debate on equal opportunities in the workplace. An ideal awareness raiser on up-to-the-minute employment issues, this pack allows staff to discuss the issues and their feelings in an honest way and get to grips with the latest thinking about our multicultural, tolerant and open society.

  • An excellent activity to introduce diversity. We have used 'Diversity at Work' all around the UK and always gets a very positive response. It can be used as a stand-alone resource or as part of a wider workshop. It gets people talking about issues/perspectives which would otherwise be difficult to broach and it quickly builds a safe environment.
