The Cards Series: Personal Effectiveness

Personal Effectiveness Cards empower staff to work out how they can manage their time at least 20% more effectively and implement the necessary changes. In just one hour revolutionise staff attitudes!


How it works

this great activity is divide participants into teams and issue each team with a set of cards. There are 30 cards in each set.

Teams discuss the cards one at a time and note down their conclusions about the issues raised. There are three types of card.

Round Robin Cards ask challenging questions of the group. Do they know exactly what they are supposed to be doing each day? Do they plan ahead? Are they aware of their ingrained time-wasting activities?

True/False Cards probe the organisation's attitude to time planning and individual responsibilities. Real questions about levels of efficiency within a section or department that can uncover some unpalatable truths!

Activities Cards give the group some specific tasks to do - all related to time management
and personal effectiveness at work.

Action Plans allow all the lessons learned to be discussed and then implemented back at work.
