Time Management

Prioritise!

Learn how to say NO! Teams learn how to prioritise by focusing on their work objectives and key result areas. They cannot delegate so anything not on their priority list will not get done for some time - will they choose the right priorities??

How it works

Teams have a batch of tasks to do and there’s no one to help! There’s no way they can do all the tasks - so they must prioritise. What is most important? What about the urgent tasks? How will they decide what to do first? Teams have a one-week diary, so having first prioritised the tasks they then schedule them in the diary in the most effective way.

What it does

Teams are faced with the common predicament of not enough time. With all the communication channels we have today there’s much opportunity for distraction, making it more important than ever to establish key result areas and specific objectives. This realistic exercise forces teams to realise that the way to get through office life is to have clear objectives. They are then in a position to compare any given task with their main set of objectives - if it’s not contributing then it goes back to the bottom of the pile! Teams learn how to prioritise and how to say NO!

Customer feedback

  • Excellent! Groups get totally absorbed - brings out key issues - well produced and suitable for many different groups (retail, public sector etc).
