At Northgate Training Ltd we design, develop, publish and supply training tools - games, exercises and simulations.

All importantly, they require delegate participation - we wholeheartedly believe in the value of learning by doing.

The idea is nothing new. Confucius, many centuries ago, said: I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand.

And more recently, learning & teaching specialist EJ Wood explains: Participative, problem-based processes embrace the principles of good learning, are student-directed, provide incentives and feedback during the learning process and encourage the experiential development of a number of skills including teamwork, finding and digesting information, peer teaching (explaining to others) reaching conclusions from data and reflecting on the learning process.*

It's easier said than done to prepare experiential learning activities - and it takes up valuable time.  So that's where Northgate fits in.  It's our job to make it easy for YOU to put experiential learning into your training programmes. 

But it's YOU who will be making the learning more enjoyable, more memorable and much more effective.

All our products are created, developed, published and supplied here at Northgate - and carry the Northgate label. We have over 25 years experience in the business.
